Batch printing can be performed from a Print Parameter File (PPF) using Bentley Advanced Map Finishing V8i. A PPF is a text file containing all information required to create a specific print from the Bentley Advanced Map Finishing print module. See Print Parameter Files.

The batch printing process can be started either from within MicroStation (key-ins or macros) or from a DOS command line/batch file using the MSBATCH.BAT facility of MicroStation. Running from a DOS command line operates the print module as an INITAPPS program and executes in silent mode. In either case, the print settings are determined from a specified PPF.
